The hotel is handy for getting around, with the highway and public transport close by, though it's outside the city center. Rooms are clean and the staff are friendly, and breakfast is included. Some rooms feel pretty basic, but for an affordable stay with easy transport access, the experience is a good one.

The park's animals are a real highlight. The hotel itself is good, though it's in a slightly dated building.

We'd happily stay again on our next trip to Zurich. The bathroom and toilet are along the hall, but they're modern and very clean, and the staff were lovely and the service excellent.

The wildlife park setting made this feel special. Once things got quiet in the evening, the animals came out, and there was a nearby spot to barbecue. Breakfast was generous, with fresh juice, rolls and treats. Thanks to the owner for the lovely coffee, restaurant and activity tips, and even a few Swiss-German dialect lessons. Such a thoughtful touch. We had a spacious, clean family room with its own shower and toilet. The shared bathroom and toilets in the hallway were useful too, especially once the kids were asleep. The owner welcomed us warmly and showed us around the charming hotel right away. A few small things could be better: the mattresses were a bit thin, a coffee maker in the room would be nice, and the bathroom extractor was noisy. Still, the quiet, animals and atmosphere made for a unique stay. What a lovely place!
