We had the whole guesthouse to ourselves since we were the only guests, which was great. The room was very clean, and although the bathroom was shared, it was spotless. The host was lovely, really friendly, and had great tips about the area. It's a cozy place, but getting there without a car takes planning. Buses run hourly, and sometimes there's a two-hour gap. The last bus from Gstaad is at 07:30 pm. Breakfast was simple, just bread, cheese, fruit, and coffee, but it was fine.

We were a group of bikers and couldn't have picked a better place. The property felt safe and secure, and Karen's husband helped adjust a couple of our bikes. The hosts, Karen and her husband, were genuinely lovely and very accommodating throughout our stay. Lauenenstrasse 5 in Lauenen bei Gstaad is beautiful, clean, and ideally placed for exploring the area. We had a wonderful visit and would highly recommend it to anyone going to Gstaad.

The mountains around here are beautiful, and it's easy to drive to Gstaad or Saneen. The tap water tasted so good I drank it instead of buying bottled water. The host speaks English and is very friendly. The coffee was delicious. Breakfast is served from 8-10, so if you skip it and want to sleep in, you may hear noise from the upper rooms. The food is fresh but mostly sweet, with no vegetables. Internet worked well, though the sockets were an odd narrow type, so we couldn't use a laptop and similar devices. We had a big, spacious room with a large balcony full of flowers, and the bedroom, eating area, and shared bathrooms were all very clean. It was lovely accommodation in a beautiful new wooden house. At first we weren't sure whom to contact: nobody was around, and the downstairs bell didn't seem to work. After a while we went inside to look for someone and found the host's room on the first floor. 4.5*

We spent a weekend at the panorama in Lauenen. The place is centrally located, the rooms and bathroom were clean, and breakfast was good. The price was really good too, and the landlady was friendly. I'd recommend it.
