The food was okay, but my two stars are mostly for the restaurant's perfect spot next to Wengen train station. As a solo diner, I got condescending treatment from one server, while I saw him act much more enthusiastically toward a larger group. Then he had the nerve to ask for a tip at the end, which is rare in Switzerland. Unfortunately, the negative reviews about that server were true for me. There are better options in Wengen, so I wouldn't recommend it.

It's a small restaurant, but the food is good and the portions were big for us as small eaters. I'd read reviews about the staff's attitude. They weren't especially friendly, but they weren't hostile either.

This was our first Swiss meal in Switzerland, and it was so tasty that we hadn't expected to like Swiss food this much. The pork chop was soft and tender, served with several salads, each with its own flavor. Together they complemented the meat and made for a balanced, fiber-filled meal. The potatoes in the Rösti were moist, buttery and creamy, with no need for sour cream. Thank you!

Wonderful views and great service, and the food was amazing. That Rösti dish was so delicious!

We had fun drinking beers outside in the afternoon sun, but dinner inside was the real surprise. Every meal we had was fantastic in both presentation and, especially, taste. It turned out to be the best meal of our week in town.
