It felt like a cozy home away from home, with modern comforts and plenty of atmosphere. Margrith & Rene' Feuz were genuinely caring and friendly during my December 2024 ski holiday. This isn't big hotel valet service, but if you're patient and friendly, you can meet international guests and get to know people from Murren village, including neighbors. And of course, the real Swiss experience is what brought you to Murren in the first place, right? 😉

The owner was a very friendly and helpful lady, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, plus a coop supermarket open from 8 to 6:30. Murren has stunning views from the BLM station to the apartment. The place was clean and good value: 624 Swiss for three nights for six people. It has a balcony and a kitchen with all the utensils, which is handy in such an expensive country if you want to save money by cooking. There's also a nearby activity center with free indoor swimming, football, a hot tub, and aqua massage, with nice views in front. Getting here from Geneva airport via Bern takes around four and a half hours if you make your train connections. Lauterbrunnen train station isn't far, about 15 minutes away by cable car for one stop and train for the second.

Our landlord was friendly, and the Chalet was cozy and charming. It was spotlessly clean and ideally placed in beautiful Mürren. Lovely stay, highly recommended.
