The views are the first thing that stand out: from the house you can see waterfalls, the Alps, and the valley, and at night the waterfall in Lauterbrunnen is lit up. It’s peaceful here, with only the waterfall across the valley to hear. The house is about a 10 to 12 minute walk from Wengen, so keep that in mind when planning your stay. We liked the walk so much that nobody complained about doing it. Inside, the kitchen is stocked with appliances and utensils, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable. You can head straight out from the house onto walking trails. We really enjoyed staying here, and would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere away from the crowds to take in the beauty and quiet of the Swiss Alps.
