The rooms are pleasant, the kitchen has everything you need, and the views are amazing even from your seat. The daily climb up the steep hill to the village or railway station is the drawback. You're tired before you get going, especially in the heat. It feels much easier when the weather is cooler.

Everything in the apartment was brand new, and it worked really well for the four of us. With lots of luggage, though, be prepared to leave the car in the village below (I hesitate to write it...) and take a train up to the hotel. It was a bit of a hassle, but the rest was spectacular.
