Hôtel Bellevue Le Rocheray

The restaurant was the biggest surprise for me. I had steak and soup, and the food was outstanding. It wasn't cheap, but I felt it was worth the price. The breakfast was good too, with the essentials, including eggs and bacon, ready early to help get the day started. The hotel itself is quiet and clean, and the rooms are comfortable, though a bit old. It's by a peaceful lake, with plenty of outdoor activities nearby. For city life, though, expect to drive. Getting to Geneva and back can be a lot, especially since Google estimates were often 20-40 minutes short for routes in Switzerland. The hotel is on the other side of the mountains, so it may suit you if you want to stay outside Geneva or save some money, as long as you don't mind the extra travel. The area is mostly French-speaking. The staff were friendly, and the few who spoke English did their best to help, which I appreciated. If you're checking in on Sunday, don't expect to see staff in the evening. There should be a key left near the stairs. Food options are very limited after about 8pm and on Sundays, so bring snacks. The hotel doesn't live up to how impressive the food is, but it was a clean, quiet stay. The distance from Geneva was my own concern, not a fault of the hotel.
