Chalet Chalet Bühlweidli

The delivery service was seamless, whether we wanted groceries, drinks, or a whole meal, and apartment guests could eat at the hotel restaurant too. The COVID-19 precautions also seemed excellent. Our own booking was a different story. We had paid and received confirmation for a chalet, but were later told it was full. We accepted a holiday apartment instead. It was adequate, though nowhere near a chalet in quality, and it also belongs to Ferienlenk. The organization felt chaotic. I can't comment on the chalet itself, but hearing that double bookings had happened to other reviewers too makes the repeated booking problems and poor organization concerning.

Inside, the chalet is very well kept and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The price feels fair to us. Outside could use some renovation, and the garden needs attention. With that work done, it would deserve more than five stars.

We were excited to stay at Bühlweidli and have a chalet with a garden, but when we got there we were told it was already occupied. The replacement had no garden, and nobody offered us a discount. Really poor service, and a terrible way to begin our holiday.

A little gem we came across while on vacation. It's a natural, friendly chalet, just right if you want peace and quiet and a simpler, rootsy feel.
