Chalet Chalet Marianne

The house was meant for up to 10 people, and we needed that many rooms for our ski holiday booked through Ferien Lenk. But there was just one parking space. In a very snowy week in February, we arrived to a house at 10 degrees Celsius because the heating wasn't working. Several bulbs were out, there was no firewood for the fireplace, not even a starter supply, and one room couldn't be used because suits were missing. There also weren't enough towels for everyone registered. The bathroom window on the middle floor couldn't be opened, as the putty was coming off. We reported the problems and got no response. The heating finally came on after four hours, then briefly failed again the next day. It's a shame we weren't taken seriously, and it gives the impression that the provider isn't interested in repeat guests. In this condition I can't recommend the place, and the website photos aren't up to date either.

The view and location are excellent, and the kitchen is nice and well equipped, though its dishwasher is broken. There are no insect screens on the windows. Communication with the owner was very poor. When the kitchen lost electricity, I tried to reach him, but he never came, so I had to pay for an electrician myself. I also asked to have the dishwasher fixed, and he didn't come for that either.
