The bus stop is just below the chalet, so getting to the ski area takes only a few minutes. The village is easy to reach by bus or car, with the holiday shops you need there. Back at the chalet, it's peaceful, the views are unbeatable, and everything is superbly equipped. The hostess is very friendly, too. We've stayed here five years running and have loved it every time. A beautiful chalet in a stunning setting, highly recommended.

We spent two summers here, once with four adults and once with three, and felt very comfortable both times. The garden is a lovely spot to sit and look at the mountains, with loungers and a barbecue, and we made plenty of use of the ping-pong table in the basement. The hostess is exceptionally friendly, and the house and its furnishings were clean and practical throughout. The chalet sits on a mountainside at about 1300 meters, at the end of the Simmental valley in the Bernese Oberland. From there, you get a beautiful view over the valley to the mountains opposite. A well-maintained winding road reaches the house by car or bus, and there's parking at the property. In the valley, Lenk is the end of the Swiss railway line, so it's easy to arrive without a car or take car-free trips nearby. Hiking trails start right at the house and are well maintained. We visited in summer, but the nearby ski lifts also make it seem well suited to winter stays. The village has good shops and excellent restaurants. The house is very well equipped, with a fireplace and Wi-Fi. Downstairs there's a large living and dining room, a spacious double bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen. Upstairs are more bedrooms and another bathroom. The sloping ceilings in those rooms weren't a problem for us. The house made for a relaxing stay, and we're definitely planning to return.

A perfect place to unwind, with a fantastic view and a quiet setting. The bus is only three minutes away, and there are two parking spaces right by the house. Whether you come in winter or summer, Datscha offers great quality for a fair price. I love coming back every year!

The chalet is well maintained, the views are stunning, and it's wonderfully peaceful. Public transport stops right outside, and there's beautiful hiking country nearby. The owner is friendly. I always enjoy coming back.
