We paid more than this place was worth. It was generally clean and looked after, and there was a kitchen and shower to use, but beyond a place to sleep, don’t expect much. We rented a room for two hoping for a nice, quiet stay. Instead, children were screaming, crying, and laughing, while 20 adults shouted at a loud party right outside our door all evening. I wouldn’t stay here again if I came back to town.

The pillowcase was torn, and we weren’t given any towels. There was a lot of shouting and screaming overnight, with nobody keeping it under control. Reception was meant to be open for an hour and a half, but no one was there.

Marcus, the manager, gave us a warm welcome and was available whenever we needed help. The location is really convenient, and both the bedrooms and common areas are spacious, clean, and nice. A really good lodge, definitely worth it!

It was good enough given the lack of other options, but below average for a hostel. There weren’t enough staff, and they didn’t put much effort into keeping the place clean.
