There are plenty of nearby attractions, and several hikes start within walking distance. We had a wonderful vacation, with a clean room and friendly staff. The hotel restaurant's food was amazing, and the bar was great too, with live music. The spa and pools were fantastic, especially the special hot water pools for relaxing. I can highly recommend getting a massage or other treatment there.

The outdoor pool was nice, though it could use some repairs. The breakfast buffet was another letdown: just one waiter was handling both the food and cleanup, and despite clearly trying, couldn't keep up. I was really looking forward to this stay, so it's disappointing to leave this review. The hotel is run down and its infrastructure needs significant renovation. We only found out on arrival that the bar, restaurant, and indoor pool weren't operating. It doesn't seem to be what it once was, and I wouldn't recommend staying unless major improvements are made.

The spa was great, and the therapists were top notch. Some of the fittings feel a bit old fashioned, though that has its own charm. What makes La Source des Alpes stand out is the service, especially from the restaurant and bar staff. Everyone was warm and smiley, with impeccable attention to detail. It's the kind of place I'd want to return to again and again.

On 29.05.2025 around 16:30, I went to the front desk with a quick question about an urgent situation outside, where a road was blocked. The receptionist cut me off abruptly without acknowledging me or politely asking me to wait. Their aggressive, dismissive manner made a terrible first impression. Staff may be busy, but there's a difference between being focused and being rude. Hospitality means treating everyone with basic courtesy, not just paying guests. This was disappointing and unacceptable.
