Doris, Kesha, and the whole team made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel offered great value. It’s in a peaceful spot with beautiful views. We had an amazing stay at Hotel Bad Schauenburg!

The setting felt cozy, and there was a good wine list. The waiters were friendly and polite, too. I had dinner at the hotel and found it to be a real gourmet experience.

The restaurant stood out for its seasonal menu, fresh ingredients, and refined dishes. The rooms were modern and comfortable after the hotel’s tasteful renovation, and the staff made everything feel easy with their warm, attentive service. Tucked into lovely surroundings, Hotel Bad Schauenburg is a quiet place to unwind. A perfect escape for some peace and quiet.

In summer, you can sit out on the terrace and look over the quiet valley. There’s also a shuttle to the hotel from Basel or Liestal train station. The staff are friendly and professional, and the hotel has recently been modernized and extended. It’s an elegant countryside spot that works well for business meetings, a romantic weekend, or a wedding.

The location is great, but our three-night stay was a mess. Both the rooms and the meeting rooms had lots of dead bugs on the floors. The waiters were rude, and the food was only average. One colleague nearly swallowed a piece of plastic in his dessert. There were too many problems to list, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.
