After visiting Santuario della Madonna by funicular, we walked around the area. It’s lovely, with beautiful views and a great location. The staff welcomed us warmly and we ordered coffees. Sitting on the outside terrace to enjoy the view was ideal, and the restaurant inside was bright and spacious. We enjoyed our visit. :) :)

The food tasted awful, the service was terrible, and the staff were unbelievably rude, unprofessional, and downright disrespectful. By far the worst restaurant in Switzerland. The whole experience was a complete disaster, absolutely horrible in every way. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, under any circumstances.

I only had a drink. After watching other diners, who didn’t seem convinced by the food they were served, I decided against ordering anything. The service at places like this feels more like a duty than a pleasure. Too bad.

We only stopped for coffee, but the view was beautiful and the family running the place were really friendly. We arrived at 9:30 a.m., and they made our kids a znuni of bread, butter, and jam, then wouldn’t let us pay for it.

I ordered lasagna and had to wait quite a while. It was cold in the middle and didn’t seem freshly cooked, maybe it had been reheated. The staff were rude to tourists.
