I found the self check-in easy enough, and the room was clean and modern. Still, it felt cold, and the view was ugly. I never got a reply to the question I sent when booking, and I wasn’t given a Locarno card.

Breakfast was delicious, and the lady made aromatic coffee for us on the morning of the 24th. The front desk employee gave us a professional, courteous welcome on January 23 and explained everything clearly. Our stay was comfortable. The hotel is in the liveliest part of town, among the shops and casino. Five stars from me.

The breakfast buffet in the restaurant was tasty, and check-in times were flexible. We liked the modern, luxurious, clean rooms and the central Locarno location, about a 10-minute walk from the train station. I’m looking forward to coming back when the weather’s better.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean and fresh, and breakfast was good too. This is a well-located boutique hotel right in the center of Piazza Grande, a great choice for a few nights in Locarno.

The price is what you’d expect from a luxury hotel, but the service feels budget. Reception isn’t always open, the breakfast was miserable, and there’s no security at all if you leave your luggage for the day.
