Ristorante Stella Con Camere

The restaurant gets two stars from me: it's an unpretentious, family-style place with decent pizza, and the staff speak very little English. The hotel upstairs is another matter. My room was hostel-style, with old furniture and no air conditioning. One of its two beds was ready for the scrapyard; the other had an extremely thin mattress and old, thin sheets. There were soap marks in the old shower and a hole in the wall. It was around 38 degrees in the room, so I had to sleep with a dirty fan blowing in my face. I switched hotels for health reasons. The owner said his card machine was old and he couldn't refund me, so we had to return three times before he paid me back in cash. I'd heard there were both good and very bad rooms here, so it seems like a lottery. Avoid the hotel.

The upstairs hotel rooms are very dated. We were told there'd be a fridge, but it was broken, and we found insects crawling on the floor. We moved to another room. There weren't insects in that one, but it still didn't look clean.

Three servings were enough to feed five of us, and the staff were really friendly. A very nice experience!

The service was good, though a little slow. Prices are generally lower than at other restaurants nearby.
