The breakfast was okay, and so were the backyard and pool area. But at this price, the rooms aren’t acceptable: the beds were miserable, old, and worn out, there was no fridge in the space provided for one, and there wasn’t a coffee machine. All in all, it’s an old hotel with better days behind it.

The large room had a beautiful retro interior and a huge balcony with great mountain views. Everything was clean and tidy, and they charged a one-time 15 CHF fee for our dog, not per day like many hotels do. I stayed for two nights with my girlfriend and our dog, and everything was perfect. The garden and pool must be lovely in summer. Breakfast was okay, not outstanding, but enough and good quality. We’ll definitely return when we’re back in the region. Thanks to the cordial staff, and all the best!

We didn’t use our car at all because public transport is just two minutes away, with great connections to Ascona, Locarno, Bellinzona, and other places. The Ticino ticket is included. The hotel has a beautiful garden and pool, a rich breakfast, and staff who are extremely friendly and helpful. Every penny was worth it. I really appreciated the New Year’s gesture, a card and a packet of cookies. A very nice hotel, and I recommend it.

For a three-star hotel, the location is excellent, it’s quiet, and the service is very good. The place was very clean, and the new, firm mattress let us sleep well.

The room was clean, the staff friendly, and public transport links were good. There are a couple of supermarkets nearby, and the river isn’t far. The Ticino ticket is included.
