Walking to Old Town was quick and easy, and we loved our time in Lucerne and at The Bed & Breakfast. Isabelle was such a gracious, friendly host, and our room and the rest of the place were sparkling clean and well appointed. There was a small setup issue in our room, but once they noticed it, they went above and beyond to fix it. Check-in was easy, and breakfast was a delicious start to the day with lots of choices. Coffee, tea, and water were available all day in the dining area. We also met Barbara, who happily suggested a delicious restaurant near the water and even offered to call for a reservation. Thanks, Isabelle and Barbara, for a lovely stay. It was the icing on the cake.

We loved staying here. It’s cozy, the rooms are clean, and breakfast was excellent. Barbara was so sweet and helpful, with great recommendations. I also enjoyed the gummy bears in the office!

My husband and I had a great stay at the Bed + Breakfast. The staff were kind, welcoming, and helpful as soon as we arrived. Our room was comfortable, the bathroom was updated and clean, and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend!

The house has loads of character and sits in a residential area, with town an easy 15-20 minute walk away or about 10 minutes by bus to the main station. We spent our days in Lucerne and at Mt. Pilatus, usually getting back around 6 or 7. The walls are thin, so it’s worth keeping voices down in the corridors in the evening. Our room was ready about 15 minutes after we arrived around noon, and the staff gave us a warm welcome, a useful introduction, and a complimentary pass for city buses. The bedroom was roomy for a house like this, and the bathroom had enough space to use the shower, toilet, and sink comfortably. There’s no air conditioning, but the ceiling fan worked well and we could open the windows. Breakfast had a nice range of options, including boiled eggs, and coffee or tea was available all day. I liked having herbal tea by the bedroom window in the evening. We stayed two nights and I wished we’d planned a longer visit. I’d happily come back.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, and breakfast was ready early. It was filling and delicious. The classic, clean room was comfortable for me and my kids. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
