Hotel Firenze Lugano

The lovely people working here are what made our visit unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, their kindness and hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. The hotel itself is beautiful too. We had a wonderful stay, highly recommended!

The location and view were lovely, but the hotel was very dirty. The towels smelled so bad we couldn’t use them, and the cushions were old and in very bad condition. It wasn’t worth the price.

The staff were super helpful and the nicest people I’ve met. That kind of kindness deserves to be noticed. Thanks a lot again, it was a great time there, and the food was great too 👏

The man who checked me in charged 9 francs for a regular bottle of sparkling water. After seeing my review, he complained that I’d posted it and said the price was normal for Switzerland. He explained that he doesn’t charge a “coperto” at the restaurant, so the water price makes up for it. But I wasn’t eating at his restaurant, I was staying at the hotel and just wanted water. He said there were no nearby places open where I could buy it, but offered to sell me a bottle. Charging such a high price for drinking water at a hotel feels very unprofessional. They should consider offering hotel guests water at a more reasonable price, especially since there isn’t even a cup in the bathroom to drink from the faucet. Not even a 3 star experience.
