Minerva Vista Lago

The view was great, and everything was very clean.

The views were the highlight for me, and I had a really lovely stay at the city hotel in Lugano. I’d happily return, and would recommend it to anyone wanting a pleasant, memorable visit to Lugano.

The location worked really well for the station, city center, and the Besso neighborhood, which is a little farther away. Self-service check-in was excellent, too. I was disappointed by what was in the apartment and its condition. I expected more kitchen utensils and cleaning products, as apartments I’ve stayed in before have usually been equipped with those. That wasn’t specified at booking, though. On arrival there were crumbs on the kitchen floor, dust in the corners and on the windowsills, leftover water in the kettle, and a very dirty toaster. I know previous guests may have left things that way, but I wish the owners had paid a bit more attention.

It was clean and pleasant. We were on the fourth floor, looking out over Lake Lugano.
