For the prime location, this was decent value. The room was clean and spacious, the bed comfortable, and there was a SmartTV with a few basic apps. I’d be happy to stay again in Lugano if the price is right. There’s room for improvement, but no major issues. The main annoyance was the lack of practical storage. There’s no bedside table on either side of the bed, though one side has three power sockets, as if devices are meant to sit on the floor. There’s no counter space around the bathroom sink, whose edges are so thin you can’t put anything there, and nowhere in the shower for toiletries like shampoo. Shampoo and conditioner were provided, but no bathroom gel, which made everyday routines awkward. The elevator only goes to the floor linked to the code entered at the main entrance. That’s a clumsy setup if you’re traveling together but staying in separate rooms, since both people have to enter their codes or the lift won’t serve both floors. You also can’t use it to move between floors. I can’t see the security point when there’s an unprotected staircase anyone can use to reach another floor anyway.

The room itself is nice, but I was disappointed. There seems to be a whole scam going on, and you only find out after the scammers have contacted you. Thankfully my bank blocked the payment. There wasn’t a single person available to ask for information, and with all those rooms, they couldn’t set one aside for luggage storage for travelers.

The balcony was a lovely place to relax in the evening, and the location is central. The apartments were clean and had everything we needed in the kitchenette. There’s a reasonably priced little shop on the same road with most essentials, and the bus to the train station stops there too. Staff replied quickly to email questions, and cleaning staff were in the building every day. The coffee shop downstairs was handy for a morning coffee. Be sure to get the access code before you arrive. I’d definitely recommend it 👌

A nice studio in a good location, and it was very clean. They answer emails pretty quickly. The kitchen works for something small like an omelet, but not a three-course meal. If two people plan to eat in the room, there’s only one chair. Online check-in doesn’t work very well, and some things listed as included cost extra, like coffee pods and dishwasher tablets.

The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, which was great for a family with kids. We especially liked having parks nearby for them to play. The apartment was clean, spacious, and well equipped for a comfortable stay. It’s also very conveniently located near public transport, shops, and restaurants, so exploring the area was easy. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend it to families looking for a cozy, convenient place.
