The staff were so warm, friendly, and professional, and made us feel looked after. We got a lovely chocolate surprise on our last day, too. We stayed four nights, and the room was clean, cozy, and warm. Check-in was quick and easy. Breakfast was tasty, especially the coffee, and each morning they brought our chosen drinks to the table. The location was amazing, and we were really happy with the stay.

I may be late writing this, but I still remember how good the village was, with its peace and quiet, great staff, and lovely breakfast. This was my first trip to Switzerland, and the hotel made a great base near Interlaken at a reasonable price. I'd recommend it.

I had a terrible stay here and can't recommend this hotel. When I checked in, the sheets had obvious orange stains. My phone only had data, so I couldn't call; I tried the hallway phone to reach reception, but the person who answered hung up rudely and told me to use my own phone. I couldn't find any staff anywhere in the hotel to help. I've stayed in over 20 hotels across more than 25 Swiss towns, and this was by far my worst experience in Switzerland. The standards here were appalling and, to me, a real insult to the country's hotel industry. Stay somewhere else.

Breakfast was nice, and they do have gluten-free bread. Just be aware if you're bringing a baby or toddler: even one bite of bread, or refusing the food altogether, still means you're charged the full adult breakfast price. Ouch.

The breakfast staff were really friendly, and the breakfast itself was very good. The room was clean and well equipped, so I'd recommend it. The toilet cabin setup wasn't quite to my taste, though.
