Balmers Hostel

Evan, one of the staff, had great energy, was there whenever we needed something, and even taught me and some friends to salsa. Balmers was the best hostel experience I've had by far, with fun evening activities in a beautiful place and a great location. 10/10.

There are cozy common spaces that really feel like home, plus a huge garden, a bar inside the hostel, and an underground nightclub. Activities run several days a week, which makes it easy for guests to have fun and meet one another. From check-in on, everyone working there was friendly and welcoming. The rooms and showers were great, with hot water and no problems, and everything was kept very clean. A big thank you to the Balmer’s team. They're what makes this place stand out. An incredible stay, and I highly recommend it!

Wilmer in the kitchen, Darío at reception, and Iván at the bar and ice skating rink deserve a special thanks. The staff really make the difference, and organize activities that help guests meet and spend time together. The hostel was spotless, with plenty of clean bathrooms, comfortable beds, and a fairly roomy closet for luggage. It's welcoming and spectacular, the best hostel I've stayed in. I'd gladly come back.

What a great spot for meeting people from all over. The staff and guests were welcoming, friendly, and sociable, and Ivan was amazing. They run activities that make it easy to connect and enjoy your trip. It was one of the cleanest, nicest, best-kept hostels I've stayed in, and worth the price. There are bars, a club, a great outdoor area, a coffee machine, mountain views, and lots of good restaurants nearby. It's an easy walk to the train station too. The area has top-notch Indian food. Loved Balmers, and I miss it every day.
