I was driving a group of tourists and had never before in Europe been refused breakfast as a driver. The breakfast here was very poor, and the group had almost eaten it all. I definitely won't choose this hotel on my next trip.

The owners of Hotel Alpbach are very hands-on and genuinely attentive, which makes this charming, quaint place feel like home. We especially loved the food. Every meal was delicious and clearly prepared with care, one of the highlights of our stay. I'd love to return the next time I'm in Switzerland, and highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

The sauna area was lovely, and the hotel is child friendly and close to the ski lift. We had wonderful food and excellent service, and would definitely return.

I've stayed here several times over the past year, and every visit has been lovely. Remo and Nadine, the hotel bosses, are the greatest people I've met in Switzerland. The rooms are perfectly clean, the food is amazing, and I can't think of anything negative. The sauna is available in the afternoon and evening, and the solarium works perfectly. The views from the windows are really nice. It's great for a family holiday, for working nearby, or just relaxing in Meiringen, the soul of the Alps. Happy wife, happy life!
