Lac Hotel

We had dinner and breakfast with the lake right in front of us, either on the terrace or indoors by the windows. Both meals were really tasty, and the staff were kind and helpful. The rooms are small and cute, but we slept very comfortably. Parking is right outside when a space is available. It’s an easy walk along the water to Melide and its pier. Such a lovely spot. I’d happily recommend it and will definitely come back. Thanks for the stay.

The balcony had the best lake view, and the rooms were super clean with great air conditioning. We were staying in an Airbnb in Morcote with no AC during one of Ticino’s most dangerous heatwaves, and couldn’t even open the windows because of bugs. Switching to this hotel was the best decision we could have made. The price was incredibly fair, and breakfast was great too. Parking takes a bit of effort. There’s a public lot about five minutes up the road, though it’s expensive. Not perfect, but really not bad. A big shout-out to the woman at reception, who spoke so many languages and was unbelievably friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

We had such a great time here. The room’s view was stunning, and the staff made us feel very welcome. Breakfast is free and pretty good, and the local bus fees and minibar are included too. It’s a short walk from the train station if you’re going to laguno every day. The bus nearby runs less often, about once an hour. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with beautiful lake views while eating at the restaurant. Our room was lovely, and the view from it was amazing too. It was cleaned thoroughly, and the fridge was restocked every day. Everyone on staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks to the whole dedicated team for a once in a lifetime experience, and especially to Agustina for taking such good care of us!
