The homemade bread and tasty cheese were lovely, and the coffee was really good too. Breakfast was fantastic. Everyone was extremely friendly, and I enjoyed the calm atmosphere, the lake view, and having a balcony. I’ll be back soon!

I spent four nights here in February. My room stayed quiet, and while the view from it and the restaurant is great, the weather during my stay wasn’t. There’s no TV, but books are dotted around the house. The local breakfast suited me well, with cheese, yoghurt, and eggs. Free Swiss adapters are available to borrow, and there’s also fast wired internet at no cost.

I stayed in one of the outside pavilions, where the WiFi was stable. It seemed less reliable in the hotel rooms. The in-house rooms are a little more spacious, though I didn’t need the extra room. It’s peaceful here, with a magnificent morning view that reaches the lake. Both breakfast and dinner were good, especially the mixed salad. The food is sourced as locally as possible, with an ecological approach.

The location’s a bit out of the way, which makes it a perfect place to get away from the city. The views are great, my room was nice, and the staff were friendly.

The lake of Neuchatel looks fantastic from here, and the employees were very friendly and engaged. Meals were fresh and varied. Most rooms don’t have WiFi, but there’s a LAN port, so bring your own access point. No TV either, just a radio, though there’s a huge selection of free books. The rooms are fairly minimal, with essential equipment, and there’s no air conditioning.
