The real highlight is the connection with the sister property, the Royal Plaza, where check-in takes place. We had breakfast there with a breathtaking panoramic view of the lake and mountains. There's limited parking right at the hotel, but guests can use the secure basement parking at the Royal Plaza. From the basement, there's also a route straight out to the beautiful lakeside promenade, a great scenic shortcut. We had a superb stay at Hotel Villa Toscane. The staff were warm and attentive, and the value for the location is unmatched in Montreux. A beautiful property with wonderful staff, and a memorable stay at a reasonable price.

The room got quite cold at night because breezes came through the window. The decor is outdated, though everything worked. It's easy to get around by bus, and there's a spa you can use at the hotel across the street, where you also check in.

Villa Toscane has pleasant rooms, though the decor is a little dated and some doors take a real lean to close. Check-in and check-out, along with the amenities like the spa, gym, and restaurant, are across the road at the Royal Plaza. That's a lovely place, and its multilingual staff are very helpful. Overall, it's good value, but you get what you pay for.

You can use the spa, pool, restaurant, and other facilities at the five star hotel across the road. The room was great, clean, and well appointed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great too, a short walk along the promenade from the station or one bus stop away. I'd definitely stay again.

It was really hot during our one-night stay, and there was no air conditioning. We had to wait for the sun to go down, open the windows, and use the fans, but it only became bearable in the middle of the night when the outdoor temperature dropped. With the windows open, the road noise came in, so I slept hot. The hotel itself is charming and cute, with clean rooms and comfortable beds. The staff were very helpful, bringing us fans and helping with plans for our stay. We even swam in the lake right behind the hotel.
