Muralto Residence

We really appreciated the Ticino Ticket included with our stay. It gives free access to public transport in the area and discounts on the cable car. The hotel is very close to the train station, yet surprisingly quiet because it sits a bit higher up. Our clean room had everything we needed, including a water cooker, hair dryer, and minibar. Breakfast in the morning was good too.

After spending the day in the heat and humidity, the wall air conditioner felt like a real blessing. Our room was spacious and modern, and breakfast was included each morning, which was handy with food prices in the area so inflated. The hotel is right by the train and bus stations, a great resting place if you’re heading out to see the sights. I’d highly recommend it.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and I was able to check in a little earlier than usual. The staff were great, and reception stayed open across a broad range of hours. Locarno railway station is about a five-minute walk away.

A great-value hotel with super clean, adequately sized rooms and such friendly staff. It’s close to the town center and train stations, and well placed for the different tours in the area. I’ll definitely come back. :)
