The mountain scenery is incredible, and the Panorama Trail makes for an easy short hike. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were helpful throughout. Breakfast was excellent too. The hotel is about a five-minute walk from the cable car station, with straightforward cable car access from Lauterbrunnen. Just be aware there’s no lift, so you’ll have to take your bags upstairs. Mürren is well worth a visit.

The restaurant had tasty options, and everyone working there was welcoming. The cozy rooms had very comfortable beds, giving the place the feel of a classic ski resort hotel. I’d happily recommend it. Thanks to all the staff, I’ll be back 😊

No elevator! Breakfast is served at hotel alpenruh, near the cable car. The rooms are clean and cozy.

We only spent one night here, but the bedroom view was fantastic. It’s on the main road, though it was very quiet. The staff were helpful, and the restaurant food was nice. What a lovely place.

The rooms were nice, but the servers were openly rude, to us and to plenty of other people too. I couldn’t tell if they dislike Americans or were just unhappy in general. We asked for more coffee, and the server opened our carafe, saw about an inch left, then waved us away. That was the worst restaurant service I can remember. I’d avoid this place.
