The Grond families clearly know how to run a hotel. Everything felt calm and straightforward, with staff ready to help without hovering. Carlo and the rest of the team were friendly and attentive, and the spa and pool were a lovely way to end the day. Breakfast was generous, and the restaurant serves Swiss food that should please fans of the cuisine. The hotel was spotless and quietly well run, with attention on the essentials rather than showy extras. It costs a lot, but the quality is there. Pisch waterfall is a hidden gem about a 30-minute walk away. The climb takes a reasonable level of fitness, but it's worth the effort.

We ate at the hotel restaurant and had a really good meal, with tasty local food and very pleasant staff. The dining room is elegant, too. It seems wise to book ahead or arrive early. A great meal in Müstair.

The new spa is wonderful, and both the hotel and restaurant are kept in good condition. We found the place cosy and enjoyed the very tasty food, much of it made with ingredients from the area. It would suit a summer or winter sports holiday, or just a short break from a stressful routine. Highly recommended.

The service was good, the staff helpful, and breakfast lovely. Everything was very clean by Swiss standards, and it feels like more than a three-star place. I'd recommend it for a short visit or for anyone who enjoys cross-country skiing. 🎿
