We had a lovely family dinner, and I especially enjoyed the cordon blue. The kids had fun at the playground for a while, though the dishes, particularly the kids’ meals, were a bit salty.

The place was clean, quiet, and peaceful. I was a little disappointed, though, that we were charged more than the price shown online.

A really nice restaurant, and the best schnitzel in Blatten.

6/10
The service was friendly, but the staff seemed too busy for the number of people working, and nobody cleared our table. The kids’ meal was a shock at 16.50: four frozen, store-bought nuggets with a grayish filling, presumably vegan, plus fries. Nothing was homemade and there were no vegetables, raw or cooked. The garlic bread also looked store-bought and didn’t taste of garlic.

The breakfast buffet was superb and had everything we wanted. Our room was spacious, clean, and well furnished, and we felt very welcome. I especially liked having a kettle and a choice of teas in the room. We’d happily come back.
