Chalet Christy

Karen made a complicated family trip feel manageable. We had 16 people at Chalet Christy over New Year 2019, and she patiently answered well over 50 emails, even while on holiday. She sorted transport, ski rentals, lessons and lift tickets for everyone, and arranged birthday celebrations for two family members for a small extra cost. When my wife broke her wrist at the resort, Karen took her to the walk-in clinic and checked in on her afterward, including once we were back in Canada. The chalet was as advertised, comfortable, and conveniently next to the ski resort. The laundry service was prompt, and everything came back neatly folded. Justin and Lorena cooked generous, tasty meals and catered to special dietary needs and requests. Karen and her husband Steve were professional and lovely to deal with, and the whole group had a memorable, once-in-a-lifetime holiday. Thanks to everyone who helped make it happen. There was plenty of space in both the room and living room, and it was a great place to stay. I did miss some privacy, though, because the bathroom wasn't fully divided from the room by a wall.

We had a comfortable, clean stay and found the hosts friendly. The price was good, too. The telecabine, town centre and shops are all about a five-minute walk away. My boyfriend and I stayed three nights and have already booked to come back.

We really enjoyed this place. The shared kitchen and big living room were handy for spending time with friends, and there’s a jacuzzi and a shoe dryer as well. Our room was clean and cozy, with its own bathroom. The cable car is just a two-minute walk away, and the location is lovely.
