Bed and Breakfast Huobschür

The owner sent us racist messages through the booking platform the day after we left. I’ve never had an experience like that with a hotel owner. It was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. We found a dead mouse in a kitchen cupboard, which made us question the hygiene. The owner was hostile, shouted at us, and demanded that we leave before our scheduled checkout. The place felt unpleasant and unsafe, especially for someone traveling alone with family. It seemed focused on making money rather than guest comfort. This was the worst stay we’ve ever had, and the first time in my life I’ve experienced anything this horrible. Avoid this hotel if you care about your health, safety, and sanity.

Mr.Viktor was friendly and easy to reach. We bought milk and cheese from him, fresh from the farm and really delicious. The terrace view left us speechless, and the balcony scenery was breathtaking. We stayed five days, five of us: four adults and one child. The apartment had a fully equipped kitchen and lots of toys for the children. We honestly found no downside to the property, and it was excellent value for money.

The owner yelled at us to leave before checkout, even after we told him about the dead rats. After we posted an honest review, he used profanity, acted racist, and told us to get out of Europe. I strongly advise against staying here, as the owner can ruin your holiday. We came with our family and children and found the place very unhygienic. There were dead rats in the kitchen cupboards and live ones behind closed doors. The smell and the noise kept us from sleeping comfortably, and our food was spoiled, so we couldn’t give it to the kids. We didn’t enjoy our stay in Switzerland.

The children were thrilled to find snow on the top-floor balcony and asked me to join them for photos before I’d even checked the other rooms. We also enjoyed the swing, exploring the farm, and chasing the rooster, though the dog wasn’t very welcoming. Even the smell of the cows added to the experience. It was a lovely surprise and one of the highlights of our vacation. I arrived on a December afternoon, and the view was breathtaking even on the drive up the hill. I was visiting Lucerne for the first time with my family of five, including three children. The rooms were basic but clean. Breakfast had the usual items, but the two freshly baked homemade loaves were a favorite. We were lucky to see sunrise over the snowy Alps.
