B&B Hotel Oftringen

Breakfast was well organized, and Harjinder ma'm was kind and quick to help with every guest request. Thank you, Harjinder ma'am. This was our first time staying in Europe, and it was a comfortable one. The lobby was clean and nearby. Our double room had plenty of space and a great view from the window. Hot, clean drinking water was available around the clock. The staff were good. Most spoke German, but they could also communicate in English.

Chilly looked after us so well, and her warm, genuine manner made a big difference. Many thanks to her. The hotel also did very well on location and staff.

I really like this chain's style and atmosphere, so what happened here was a letdown. Just yesterday at B&B St. Gallen I could control the temperature and the service was incredibly friendly. I hope management hears about this. During the night shift from 28th into January 29th at B&B Oftringen, I couldn't sleep at 4:00 am because the room was unbearably hot. There was no window I could open, and the climate control touchscreen didn't work. The night receptionist, a male with an athletic build and around 30 years old, was annoyed and mean. He seemed more interested in getting rid of me than helping. He said no rooms had openable windows, which I doubt, then offered to move me while saying the temperature couldn't be adjusted in that room either. When I raised my concerns, he just said, “That’s how we do it here.” I told him I was a professional singer traveling for work and needed adequate air, but that only seemed to irritate him more.

The underground parking was a nice extra, and the staff were friendly. Clean, affordable, and good value for the money. A great experience, definitely recommend.
