The bar was a lovely place to unwind, and the location worked perfectly for us. Our room was clean and really comfortable, and we were greeted so warmly. We can't wait to come back.

Coming back to Villars, where I used to live down the mountain, felt like a dream. My family had a fantastic stay in summer 2024, and the owners and staff made our 8-month-old and 5-year-old feel completely at ease and welcome. Highly recommend it.

I like the friendly reception and nice service, and the view is good too. I prefer a place like this with good prices over expensive big hotels.

The chalet-style room is beautiful, and the open shower has a great view. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and the setting is special. Just be aware of the old-fashioned charges: borrowing a plug adaptor from reception costs extra, and if you book breakfast but don't turn up, you'll be charged the full amount. You can avoid those charges, of course, and still have a lovely stay.

I can't comment on the hotel itself, but the restaurant is lovely, with cozy surroundings, fantastic food made with care, and very friendly, multilingual service. I ate there two nights in a row because service at the five-star hotel across the street was horrible. They should also correct their Google listing, since it doesn't show the restaurant.
