Our whole family loved this chalet. It’s incredibly spacious, well equipped and furnished luxuriously, with comfort clearly a priority. The views are breathtaking, and as soon as you arrive, everything feels peaceful and calm. We chose it for the privacy, scenery and easy access to hiking trails, shopping and plenty more. There’s lots to do nearby, and it’s not a long drive from the chalet. The hosts were kind, generous and quick to respond. We ran into some reservation challenges, and they handled them so kindly, going well beyond what they needed to do. We’re sad to leave and hope we can visit again.

With 10 of us looking for a chalet rather late this year, finding the right place wasn’t easy. We were fortunate to get the period between Christmas and New Year at Chalet Melchior, and it lived up to our hopes. It’s a beautiful chalet with spacious rooms. We’ll remember gathering as a family in the living room by the fire after skiing each day. Thanks to David for making it possible for us to spend a lovely week in Villars.

We booked this chalet for a 50th birthday treat for two families, and it was just right. The snow was fantastic, so we could ski to the lift. Afterward, easing our sore muscles in the hot tub and taking in the mountain views was incredible. We even spotted a wild cat prowling around! The town was friendly and the restaurants were wonderful, but the chalet felt so homely that we were always happy to come back and relax. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, absolute heaven. Thanks for the goodies waiting for us when we arrived. We highly recommend it.

Seeing those spectacular views as we came through the front door brought us to tears. We’ll always treasure the lovely memories we made at this beautiful chalet. It exceeded our expectations and felt as if it had been made for our family. I brought my five daughters and their husbands to Switzerland so they could experience my homeland, and it was absolutely fabulous.

We spent September at Chalet Melchior and had a wonderful stay. The hot tub was a lovely bonus after days of walking, using ebikes and visiting the spa in the village. Villars itself is a lovely village, and the chalet is comfortable, very well equipped and furnished with good quality pieces. David was attentive, and the cleaning team were lovely. I could easily have stayed longer...
