We only stayed one night, but I’d happily stay longer next time. The owners were friendly and polite, the welcome was warm, and the staff took care of everything we asked for. The guest lounge was really cozy, the rooms looked renovated, and the bathrooms were great. Getting out to ski before the lifts start is priceless. Thanks for a wonderful stay in the mountains. See you soon.

The location is wonderful, but the place has become rather full of itself. I stopped in for coffee at 11 am and was turned away because the tables were set for lunch. They said they only served drinks outside, which doesn’t work for everyone when skiing has left their hands or feet cold. The response below only confirms what I mean.

The burger was awful, and we couldn’t eat it. When we said so, the waitress was far too ironic about it. The service was bad overall, and the people were rude.

There’s a sewage smell throughout the restaurant, and the food wasn’t worth the price. Paying 36 CHF for a mediocre lasagna in Villars is a joke. Some staff don’t even speak French. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially when the other restaurant nearby is much better.
