10/10

The pool and sauna were a great way to wind down after a full day on the slopes, and the train to the ski resort is only a five-minute walk away. I stayed for two nights in February 2014 in a small double room, which was plenty for a short visit and a decent deal. Reception staff were friendly and helpful: they found us a plug adapter since Swiss plugs differ from the rest of Europe, and let us keep the car in the parking area for a full day after checkout. Recommended.

There’s plenty to find in the village, which is large enough for what you need, and the staff are really friendly. The views are stunning, with beautiful nature all around for outdoor sports.

A quiet, family-oriented residence right in the centre of town, convenient for Villars’ amenities. There’s a bit of a climb to reach the mountain train, but it’s manageable.

Friendly people and a nice atmosphere. Dogs are welcome. Bring them some chocolate and they’ll love you forever.
