The staff at Le Vieux Valais made us feel welcome with their warmth, knowledge, and attention. The setting is elegant but still inviting, and it made for a lovely backdrop to the meal. As for the food, every dish felt carefully put together with fine ingredients, both local and from farther afield. Each bite was a delight. In the heart of Ovronnaz, Le Vieux Valais turned dinner into a memorable experience. I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a special meal.

We waited an hour, and they still forgot our orders. People who came in half an hour after us were served first. By the time the food arrived, we'd lost our appetite. We were the only Asians there, and it felt as though we were being singled out because of that. A really disappointing experience. Never again.

We got there at 22:00, after the kitchen had closed, but they still made us a shared plate of dried meat, cheese, and toast. The bartender was very kind and accommodating. Definitely recommend it!

The place feels really cozy, and the atmosphere is great. The food was delicious too. Those bruschettas were incredible, and the Fromage Rösti with raclette cheese is the best Rösti I've tried so far!
