The seasonal “la chasse” menu made for a lovely evening at the restaurant Hotel de la Plage, Preverenges. My wife and I sat in one of the outdoor bubbles by the lake, which felt cosy. The food was really high quality, and cooking my meat on a hot stone was a first for me. Dessert was lovely too, with a little flame on top that might show in the photo. The staff were very, very friendly, and we had a really enjoyable meal.

That view over Lake Geneva is stunning, and the staff were friendly and attentive. My son and I had a lovely meal on the terrace right by the water. The escargot and salads were brilliant, though I think the kids’ menu could be better.

We arrived a little after 2 pm and they still welcomed us. Service was perfect, and all three dishes we ordered were delicious. The indoor dining room is elegant, while the terrace is lovely and pleasant. Thanks, we’d be happy to come back!

You can hardly get closer to the lake from the terrace without putting your feet in the water :). The plates are a bit expensive, but the quality and taste make them worth it. There are clear bubbles on the terrace where groups of up to 5 or 6 can sit out of the wind and still enjoy that beautiful view.
