That beef and potato-like dish was so good, I’d order it again if I’m back. I think it was called Leber und Rösti, though I’m not completely sure of the name. I had dinner here with colleagues and partners from Ramsen, and it was a really nice evening.

Breakfast was a real highlight, especially the homemade bircher muesli, jams, and fresh juices made on-site from fruit in the garden. The welcome was warm and attentive, and we had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Hirsch in Ramsen. It’s simple but elegant, with spacious rooms that were impeccably clean. An authentic place where you feel at home right away.

Sylvia is the lady of the house, and her Wolfgang is a very good cook. Hirschen has real soul. Calf’s liver is one of his specialties.
