The Hotel Restaurant Hirschen has been closed since January 1, 2023, as you may have noticed. Its operations have ended, and the building now provides accommodation for asylum seekers. We want to thank you for all the interesting encounters and countless conversations, for trusting us, and for welcoming us into the village. With heartfelt thanks, The whole Hirschen team

A generous breakfast at a very fair price made this spontaneous stop during my Alpine Panorama Trail hike even better. The room was small but lovely, newly renovated, with a nice bathroom and a powerful hairdryer. It was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and there was a television. I highly recommend the Hirschen!

The food is simple, tasty, and comes in generous portions, and there's a lovely garden seating area. Getting there is easy, with plenty of parking. Just know that this place has a traditional village atmosphere. If that's not your thing, you may want to skip it. For everyone else, the welcome is friendly and almost family-like. A pleasure to visit!

The food wasn't bad, but the unfriendly service ruined the experience at the end. They didn't have change for the cigarette machine. I can't think of anything good to say.

Large portions, nicely presented, and delicious, with low prices. The restrooms were clean too. Thankfully, the restaurant has a new owner, and they're friendly. I'd gladly come back.
