The quiet setting and terrace view made this a relaxing place for our family. Ferienhaus Godo in Ried-Morel is also just about a 10-minute walk from the cable car, and even the little ones managed it. We could leave our skis at the Riederalp station, so we didn’t have to carry them every day, and there’s a small playground nearby. The church opposite can be a bit loud at first, but we got used to the bells. There were eight of us, and the house was bigger than it looked in the pictures. The kitchen had everything we needed, the internet was fast and trouble-free, and the kids were happy with the big box of Lego Duplo and the board games. Our host was helpful and quick to answer questions, which made things easier. The place was great for a family, and we’d recommend it.

The parking situation wasn’t ideal, though extensive roadworks were partly to blame. Communication with the landlord was somewhat difficult, both before and during our stay. We left the house much cleaner than it was when we arrived. Since shops in Switzerland are closed on Sundays and handover is on Saturday afternoon, the supplies provided weren’t enough for eight people: there was just one toilet roll per bathroom and one dishwasher tablet. The information should make clear that guests need to bring their own.
