We had a wonderful long weekend and felt welcome, thanks to the friendly hosts. The apartment was clean, cosy and well equipped, with comfortable beds. It's very close to the Moosfluh chairlift, and the children enjoyed using the sledges provided in car-free Riederalp. The mountain views were amazing, especially the Matterhorn.
We love hiking in Riederalp, and the location here is excellent. On clear days you can see the Matterhorn from the balcony, though some things in the apartment could be better. The WiFi was weak and barely good enough for streaming. Other small irritations: checkout at 9:00 felt too early, there was no microwave or paper towels, and the walls could use some decoration to make the place feel warmer and more connected to its setting. All told, a very nice place, 4/5.
The location is even better than the apartment, and that's saying something. It's right beside the lift!
What a stunning view!
We felt at home in this clean, cosy apartment. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were excellent, including the fold-down ones. Getting into the building, ski room and apartment with the key cards worked seamlessly. There's plenty of space in the ski room, plus a boot dryer. Being next to the Moosfluh chairlift and near the ski school made our ski holiday perfect. Warm wishes to Riederalp, and many thanks to the owners and Bürcher Alpin Sportina for their hospitality.
