The hotel is close to the lift, and breakfast was more than enough. Very good stay!

The gondola is right across the street, so the location was excellent. The rooms were okay, though the mattresses were really springy and I could feel the bed frame underneath. It seemed like one person was handling the cooking and reception, so service was only okay for a three-star hotel. Breakfast was sparse, just some bread, eggs, and condiments.

We were very disappointed by how cold the rooms were. Our fifth-floor room was 15-16°C, and the heaters weren't working. Reception sent someone to try to fix them and said they'd warm up in 15 minutes, but they didn't, and reception had closed by then. We woke to 17° the next morning. The kitchen area attached to the room was still 15°. The following day we moved to another room where the heating was supposedly working, but it still wasn't much warmer. There was no thermometer there. We had to sleep in hoodies with extra blankets, which we've never had to do in a hotel. Rooms are usually too hot, even in the mountains in winter. Maybe it was because the season had just started, but it really felt like the heaters were being kept low in several rooms.

The spa was a big plus, with a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, and relaxation room. We also got thoughtful meals despite having a gluten-intolerant person and a vegetarian in our group, which isn't always the case. The staff were friendly, the food was tasty, and breakfast had a good selection. Our room was clean and comfortable. They even picked us up from the bus station. For skiing, the location is incredible, right by the main lift. I'd definitely return to Saas Fee.
