The owners live in the building and are really friendly, and we found the price good for what you get. We’d happily stay again. Our studio was roomy, clean, and practical, though the furnishings are a little dated. The coffee maker takes Nespresso capsules, and you’ll need to bring a hairdryer, toaster, or scissors if you want them. Coming from Germany? Bring an outlet adapter too. The place is central but quiet, and the balcony has a fantastic mountain view, as of July 2024. Parking is about 700 meters away; you can get your luggage there by handcart or electric taxi for CHF 25. For breakfast, there’s a bakery nearby, or the neighboring Hotel Christiana offers a full buffet for CHF 18 per person, drinks included. Outside ski season, the tourist card lets you use the cable cars without an extra charge. There is a tourist tax of CHF 7 per person per day, though. All prices are from summer 2024. Restaurants in Saas-Fee cost about twice as much as in Germany, so cooking in the apartment makes sense.
