Haus Camillo

The location is central and very convenient, with a great view and comfortable beds. The clever pull-down beds in the lounge were useful, so I'd still stay again for those things. But the place felt neglected: lots of dust, mold up the wall and window, graffiti in the hall and worn carpets. Not all the windows had proper curtains or blinds either. Sitting on stools at the table was uncomfortable after skiing, when a chair with a back would have been much better. There's no microwave, and the kitchen items were an odd assortment. The kitchen and bathroom need major renovation. The shower door was hard to open and close, and the oven door wouldn't shut at all, which made cooking difficult.

It's a lovely apartment in a great spot near the ski lift, and the renovation is practical. But the radiator keeps knocking, which gets annoying. The service also felt poor and impersonal. I pointed out that several items listed in the posted inventory were missing, and they just told me there was a vacuum cleaner on the fifth floor. Great for cleaning, but it doesn't help me cut bread. They didn't actually deal with the missing items, and I had to clean toothpaste marks left by the previous guest off the door myself. Such a shame for an otherwise nice property.

Camillo Apartments are nicely renovated, and every apartment looks great with a lovely bathroom. The reception staff were very friendly and gave us excellent instructions. The bakery is 100 m away, while Coop and Migros and the ski lift are each 300 m away. Highly recommended. Regards, M. Schwab

The owners gave us a very warm welcome, and when we left we could honestly say we hadn't lacked anything. It's a lovely newly renovated place. We'd definitely return if we're in Saas-Fee again.
