We had a fantastic October stay. The staff were incredibly kind and professional, and breakfast had a great range of choices. Our room was clean and had a wonderful mountain view. In the garden, there was a Jacuzzi that was perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine, along with a small, cozy sauna.

The reception staff were rude and unpleasant, especially when we complained, and didn't seem willing to accommodate requests. Booking was also tricky because the hotel's reservation system didn't match the service providers' systems. One extra room showed as available on booking.com and other providers but wasn't available in the hotel's system, so you might book and not get accommodation. The booking sites also don't clearly say that some rooms are in an annex, a separate building five minutes away, and much lower quality. If you're staying there, getting to the sauna, hot tub, or breakfast is inconvenient. There's no changing room for using the sauna or hot tub from the annex.

We were delighted with our three-day stay after someone recommended the place. The rooms, breakfast, and friendly staff were all wonderful. We also made frequent use of the large playroom.

Excellent location, and they were very accommodating. They shuttled us and our luggage to and from the car, brought complimentary drinks and bath robes to us in the hot tub, and served a fantastic breakfast. The service was exceptional.
