We booked at the last minute with the family and figured the price meant it might be just okay. Then we got there: friendly staff, a quick pickup at the parking, and a really nice room. It wasn't the newest, but the beds were comfy and the balcony was lovely. Breakfast surprised us in a good way. The kids, 3 and 5, had a great time dancing on the balcony during apres ski hour 🤣🙌🏻. We were here 4 years ago and had a fantastic time. You can walk straight from the hotel to the ski-lifts, and the location is hard to beat when visiting Saas-Fee. The rooms are nice, breakfast is good, and it's great value. We also love the apres-ski here, where we always meet up after a day skiing.

We've stayed here 5 years in a row as a family of 4 in a south family room, and the location is the main draw. It's right by the gondolas, opposite the kids ski school, with the hotel's own apres ski out front. You can have lunch in the restaurant or at the apres ski, and the balcony has an amazing view. The rooms feel outdated now, and the kids' room is quite small, though the price is competitive and the price / quality ratio is alright. Breakfast is fine and the reception staff are very nice.

After skiing, we stopped in for morning coffee. The bar staff were so friendly and made the latte macchiato exactly as we asked. The coffee was delicious, they even gave us free croissants, and the relaxed space has beautiful mountain views.

We wanted to celebrate our first day learning to ski, so we sat at the Larix bar and bought drinks. Then a server told us we couldn't sit at the bar, even though other people were there. He was extremely rude and didn't explain why. He had a beard and a black saas fee hat, and was working at the outside bar by the fire pit. Please train staff to treat customers more pleasantly. We won't come back.
