The shared kitchen has plenty to use, including stoves, a coffee machine, kettle, two fridges, dishes, utensils, books and games. There are tables too, and the restaurant runs from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM. You can order fresh bread and croissants for the morning. Our tent was 40-60 meters from the parking area just outside the campsite. That was still convenient, and it kept the grounds quiet and car-free. We could bring our own barbecue or have a campfire, which added to the experience. Camping Tariche sits right beside the beautiful Doubs River, with a lovely, welcoming community. The staff were kind and helpful, and made us feel at home.

Swimming in the river with those views, and playing on the ferry, were the best parts for us. We also found St Ursanne a really special place to visit. The valley is wonderful, and the campsite has a relaxed, friendly feel. Everyone was respectful, it was very family friendly, and the facilities were in great shape. We had a fantastic stay and will come back.

Our tent was in a beautiful spot beside the river, and the kids loved taking the boat across it. There are great hikes nearby. The site is small, with friendly, attentive staff who were happy to help. We also liked the cosy restaurant, and there’s a communal kitchen guests can use.

We had a great time by the Doubs River with our campervan. The campsite is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a good base for hikes, and a lovely fit if you enjoy keeping things simple.
